I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the sable and white male puppy that I bought from you in febuary. I named him Auggie, short for Augustus, and boy does he fit his name. He just finished his shots and his vet really likes him. Auggie is very healthy and now weighs 15 pounds, he is really able to play and keep up with my 1 year old cocker, Abi. Auggie has already learned to sit and wait until I place his food bowl on the floor by watching Abi. Tonight, I plan to start having him watch Abi practice her sit, stand and down exercises and see how fast he learns.

I was browsing through your website because I am interested in purchasing a Cocker Spaniel to add to the collection of my spoiled house pets! Unfortunately your too far out but I want to personally like to thank you for having such a well equiped kennel! Your pictures are lovely and I'd wish more animal breeders would model what your facilities look like. I've turned down alot of pet offers because the facilities were not up to par & I'm still looking for one in the surrounding areas. Once again thank you for being moral and responsible animal breeders and I wish you the best of luck with your business!!!

The puppy we picked up yesterday is a real beauty. The vet took your information, because he thought "Tucker" was a great dog. Everything looked just fine. We decided to name him Tucker after one of the dogs you had, and one of our favorite restuarants in St. Louis is "Tucker's". Phinneas and Tucker played a lot last night and this morning. Tucker goes to the bathroom every time we take him outside. We have had a couple of accidents inside, but it is easy to clean up on a wood floor. Will send you some pictures as he gets older. Thanks, Sam If you are ever in the Columbia area, stop by and see Tucker and Phinnneas.

Bruce and Tammy, I purchased one of your puppies in July 2007. Birthday Pupcake (a.k.a. Pupcake) has been absolutely wonderful! She is excellent with all six of our kids and a joy to have around! Pupcake loves giving kisses and playing with our other Cocker Sundae. Thanks!

Our children decided that daddy needed a puppy for Father's Day. I found Bruce & Tammy on the internet and was impressed with what I saw on their website. We purchased "Izzy" in August 2008. She has been a wonderful addition to our family. She has a great personality (she hasn't met a stranger yet!!) and is great with kids. I would recommend Bruce and Tammy to anyone looking to add a puppy to their family. Thanks Bruce & Tammy!

We bought Sophie from you 3 years ago, she is black and very little white. She is the best dog a person could have. We brought her over to your house sometime ago to try and have puppies with Rio, but needless to say she is all baby and ran poor Rio off.......lol. Could you please send us some pictures of your new puppies, we have cocker fever!!!!! If any body is going to buy a dog the should buy it from you guys, she is the best dog around, she has been healthy since the day we got her. We would like another one possibly that is like her, loving, learns quick. Bruce and Tammy treat their dogs like kids and they are the best dog people around. thanks from the Hawkins family

 Bruce and Tammy,

Hopefully, this won't strike you as overly emotional but I just
 had to write...

First off, I just wanted to say how my visit to your home
and seeing all your Cav pups and dogs lifted my spirits today.
My words here cannot fully describe just how touched I felt.

It is such a rare thing for me to find people who share the love
I have for dogs and who go to the extent the both of you have
gone with your Cavaliers and Cockers.

Your home was amazing! And in addition, the atmosphere, attention
and love you give to your dogs and pups on a daily basis is phenomenal.
You should both be VERY proud of what you are doing. I actually hated to
leave. I wanted to stay and offer to help in any way that I could,
if only for just the one day.

I will have to get my landlords permission and take care of a few
other things that have cropped up in just the past 48 hours--
things that, unfortunately, I have little control over...

Guess what I'm trying to say is that it may be 6 months or longer before I could    consider taking on another Cavalier. I don't like this at all because if money as well as my current living arrangements weren't an object, I'd have wanted to buy several of your Cav pups this morning.

I'm hoping you will still be raising/breeding cockers and cavs for years to come. YOUR
PLACE will be my FIRST STOP.   OK, well I'm not ashamed to admit it... I've gotten a  little teary-eyed just thinking about your dogs and pups, so before I completely go off to lay down and have a good cry I should say, THANKS AGAIN for today. It is my heart-felt hope we can connect again somewhere down the road of life.

Sincerely,

I close with the words of Conrad Lorenz:
" The bond with a true dog is as lasting as
the ties of this earth can ever be. "

I wish you all many great tomorrows. Oh and, I'll be checking your website from time to time!!! Take care.

Hi Bruce and Tammy!!!! I am so sorry that it has been so long since I've contacted you!!! I have been thinking about you guys a lot lately and wanted to email you to give you an update, and I will try to send some new pics of Binx this weekend! (You won't believe how big he's gotten!!) :) First of all, I have been wanting to thank you again for Binx...he has made my life so much more joyful and he is the most amazing dog in the world! Remember how Bruce taught him fetch? Well here is his current list of achievements: Sit, lay down, shake, beg, play dead, rollover, speak, stay, high five, and leave it..."leave it" was developed by training him to leave a treat sitting right in front of him until I say "OK" and then he may have it. It has been VERY handy when I'm in the kitchen cooking and if I accidentally drop something on the floor he can't have!! He also knows not to go into the street (or cross a street when we're on our walks) until he hears "OK." You can literally try to drag him into the street and he will lay down and will NOT budge!!! I'm telling you, you guys bred a genius! Every day I am amazed at how smart he is! Another thing everyone thinks is adorable and I guess I take for granted is that EVERY night (since he was a baby) at promptly 9:15 - 9:30 he walks into his kennel on his own to go to bed. My friends think this is amazing since their dogs HATE their crates and say it is pulling teeth to get them to go in. But Binx loves his, and I even try to get him to sleep on the bed with me (which he will for maybe an hour) then he goes back to his crate! Anyway, I can't wait to send you pictures, he is GORGEOUS and has the most perfect markings. I hope everything is well with you guys and hope to hear from you soon!
